The Park

We went to the park this afternoon because the weather was really nice.  The park was very crowded though so we did not stay long.  I hope the weather stays warm so we can play outside.  Eric really likes to be outside.

Clementine

At the beginning of this video Eric is singing Twinkle Twinkle Litttle Star (" up above the world so high").  But mainly this video is about the clementine.  Eric picked out a bag of clementines at Target and then proceeded to carry them around the store (he would not let us take them without a tantrum), he had them in his lap in his carseat on the way home, and then he took a nap with them.  Eric actually does not even eat them after all that .  He will put the clementine in his mouth, suck out the juice and spit the rest out.

Eating Breakfast in a Cupboard

Eric is not a fan of his highchair recently.  We will probably have to get him a little table.  This morning he decided to eat his breakfast in his kitchen cupboard.  At one point he got all the way in and closed the door to play peekaboo.

The Boys

Counting to 10

Talking on the Phone

Eric copies almost anything someone else does.   One of his favorite things to do is talk on the phone.  In this video he walks around the house talking to his Uncle Bobby and Jennie Rose.  Very cute.  He never forgets anyone once he meets them once.

Running Hug

I am not really sure where he got this idea but all the sudden he started doing a running hug.  He did it about 30 times or more which was very funny.

C-Section Scheduled

Sydney Lauren Hornsby will be born Friday, March 25th at 7:45AM unless she decides she would like to come before then.  The OB finally called this morning and scheduled the exact date and time.  I have to be at the hospital at 5:45AM........ kind of early, but it will be very exciting to hold our little girl and I am sure I will be very ready.

St. John

Eric did very well in 2010 at work and earned a spot on his quota club trip to St. John.  The 23rd-27th Eric and I went to St. John and Little Eric stayed 2 days with Grandma and Grandpa Hornsby and 2 days with Grandma and Grandpa Dunn.  I am 31 weeks pregnant in this picture.

Here is the view from our patio of our hotel room.  The resort was Caneel Bay and it was beautiful.  It had many different beaches and the water was crystal clear all the way to the bottom.  We saw sea turtles, flying fish, star fish, and many other colorful fish.  The weather was wonderful and I was even able to go Kayaking 31 weeks pregnant.  It was very nice to have one last relaxing trip just the 2 of us before Sydney arrives.

As always, the awards dinner was a dress up event.  This year it was a Toga Party.

Eric and I in our costumes watching the sunset before dinner.

Sadly, the day we were leaving and the view of the resort from the ferry.  Eric and I were ready to get home and see our little man.  This trip was the longest we have ever left him.  He had lots of fun with his grandparents but started to get anxious to see us about the 3rd night.

Coloring

Balloon Fun

I know that Eric is always wearing these pajamas in his videos and pictures.  This is because he LOVES them and does not want us to take them off.  I have 3 purchased 3 sets of  "doggie jammies" so we have some clean as often as possible.

Eric Eating Snow

When getting out of our snow wear Eric kept trying to eat snow off his shoes so I quickly ran outside and got some clean snow off his swing set that he could eat.

Snow Day!!

Eric, Daddy and Frank in the Snow!!!  We have about 6 inches of snow today and all schools and businesses are closed so we got to stay home and visit together and play in the snow.

Frank in full sprint loving this weather!!!

What a Cutie!!!  He smiled for the Camera.

Eric was hesitant about the snow at first but then wanted to walk around in it until he said his feet got cold.
 Eric and Frank!!

Eric Playing In The Snow

Eric was a little hesitant to be in the snow.  The first thing he said when Daddy set him down was, "All Done."  Then he said, "hug" so that someone would pick him up.  After I turned the camera off and went out into the snow too he decided it was fun to walk around in.

Eric and Frank

Eric loves Frank.  He talks about him ALL the time and calls him "Frank come here" where ever he is in the house.  Sometimes Frank cooperates and other times Frank is not interested.

Eric and Daddy

Eric wanted Daddy to show him how to hang the hooks up on his tool set.  Eric was so proud of himself when he finished I was glad I had the camera out.

Eric's Tool Bench

Eric just woke up from his nap before this video so he is not quite awake yet.

Tool Set

Eric got a small toolbox from Karen, David, Carly and Jennie Rose for Christmas which he loves and stayed for him to play with at Grandma Susan's house so Daddy and I got him this tool set yesterday.  He loves it!!!

Sydney is 28 weeks and Eric is 19 months

I am trying to catch up with pictures and videos from the holidays but have misplaced my camera cable.  Until I find it I will not have any pictures.
Anyway, I went to the OB yesterday for my Glucose Screening to verify that I don't have Gestational Diabetes (it is a routine test).  I should get the results within the next week.  Sydney's heart beat was good and she is measuring on the large side of average.  I also visited a Physical Therapist for my back as I have been having some lower back pain this pregnancy (due to lifting 28+lb little man).  I have to go 2x a week for the next month for treatment and wear a support belt to protect my lower back from further pain.  I go back for my next visit the 18th and my C-Section will be scheduled at that visit so that I can let everyone know when Sydney will be arriving.  The doctors say the C-Section will be around March 24th which is 78 days from today.
Eric is 19 months old today.  He is such a big boy.  Eric has an enormous vocabulary and can communicate anything he is thinking clearly.  Eric recently memorized 11 words from Eric Carl's Brown Bear Brown Bear and recited them without even looking at the book.  Eric also enjoys finishing sentences in his favorite stories, counting to 10, singing various songs, and going to school.  Eric has moved on from Strawberries and Blueberries to peaches as his favorite fruit for the time being.  His favorite foods are chocolate milk, crackers, cheese, yogurt, pasta, and applesauce.  Eric is a picky eater and we are trying to find new healthy foods he will eat everyday.

Blocks

Eric is at Grandma Amy and Grandpa Bob's house in this video in his favorite "doggie jammas."  He loves them so much he fusses when we take them off and asks for them when they are dirty.  Eric is such a big boy.  In this video he tells himself good job (which he does quite often and I think is very funny).   He also asks about his Chocolate Milk which he can't seem to live without for more than 5 minutes these days.  The rest of the video he is singing something (I am not sure) and building with blocks.
Grandpa Bob has been doing an excellent job taking video since I have not had a chance.  Thanks!!!!

Big Boy Bed

We are trying to get ready for Sydney because she will be here before we know it.  On Sunday Grandma Amy and Grandpa Bob came over and helped us move the nursery furniture across the hall, the guest room to the end of the hall and Daddy's old Eric bed and a new dresser into Eric's room.  So Sunday night Eric started sleeping in a twin size bed.  So far he has been doing very well.  He is able to climb in and out all by himself.  I purchased train bedding from Pottery Barn Kids for the bed which he loves.
