The Kids and I

One day both kids were crying at the same time so I put Sydney on Eric's back to comfort them both.  Ever since Eric asks to have his baby sister on his back.  "Baby sister on back mommy," he says while pointing to his back.  Very cute picture!!!

Sydney has no trouble taking a bottle.  We left her with Grandpa Bob and Grandma Amy to go to see one of Eric's co-workers band on Friday.  She did very well.

Sydney 6 Weeks

What a cutie!!  Sydney is 6 weeks on Friday.  She is smiling and sleeping for a 6 hour stretch at night.  Things are going great!!  Eric loves his little sister so much.  Last night he was singing the itsy bitsy spider to her and helping her do the hand motions with her hands.  He loves to hug and kiss her.

I keep trying to capture a smile but have not been able to yet.  Here is part of one :-)

What a cute little pout face.  She wanted mommy to pick her up.  Her right eye is shiny because she has a blocked tear duct and I have to put ointment on it.

Easter Egg Hunt

Eric's 1st Easter Egg Hunt in our neighborhood.  He was not too sure what was going on but enjoyed collecting the eggs and putting them in his basket.  He was much more excited about the eggs once we got home and he found out there was candy and chocolate in them. 

Eric wanted to look at the Easter Bunny but was afraid of him and would only get this close with Daddy.

Sydney Sleeping

Sydney is funny.  She always sleeps with her arms above her head.  

Present for Eric

My Uncle Pat and Aunt Diane sent this present for Eric.  As you can see he loved it.  He gets very excited to open presents. 
Many people have sent Eric items when sending things for Sydney which is very sweet and thoughtful.

Tummy Time/ Sleeping

A little bit of a smile!

I had to do some laundry so I set Sydney in the bathtub.  Sydney loves the rumble of the dryer and promptly fell asleep in the bathtub on the washer.  It was so cute that I had to take a picture.

Sydney 23 days old

Cute newborn shortset that I picked out for her.  She did not have it on very long before spitting up all over it.

She has learned to comfort herself by sucking on her hand and fingers.  She won't take a pacifier.

The Park
