Grandma Susan and Grandpa Bill lifted up their Christmas tree so that Eric could ride a train around it.  The tree looked very funny but Eric had a wonderful time riding around and around on the train.

Eric's Wagon

Grandma Amy and Grandpa Bob got Eric a Wagon for Christmas.  He loves it.  Christmas Eve he spent about an hour and 1/2 siting in the wagon and buckling and unbuckling the seat belt.

Eric, Frank, and The Elephant

Daddy and I bought Little E an Animal Alive Elephant for Christmas in addition to his swing set.  In this video Frank is bothered that the Elephant is making noise and moving by itself and Eric thinks it is very funny.

Talking to Toby

Eric loves all animals.  In this particular video he is talking to Toby "Pa Pa" Bob and Grandma Amy's Cat.  He says, " Hi, Toby's here.  Pa Pa then asks him where is Toby? Eric says "down stairs."

Sydney Lauren Hornsby

Little Sydney is 23 weeks this week.  She is a little over a pound and Daddy and Little E are now able to feel her move in my tummy.  Very exciting!!!  She will be here before we know it.
We have decided to name her Sydney because we like the name and because Little E has a "girl friend" at school that he loves (hugs and kisses and talks about all the time) named Sydney and he says her name really cute.  Lauren is my middle name so she will have something in common with Mommy's name since Little E has the same name as daddy and the same initials.
I am sorry that I have not posted pictures in a while.  We have been really busy and I have not remembered to use the camera.  I will put new pictures up as soon as I can.  In the mean time I will post a video that "Pa Pa" Bob took yesterday while watching Little E.

Halloween

Eric was a dinosaur for Halloween.  He was going to go in his PJ's but it was too cold.  This is the only costume he would wear because it did not go over his head.  He does not like things to go over his head.

When the door was opened Eric would say tricky tricky.  He could not quite say trick or treat.  Then he would say thank you and we would go.  We only planned on going to 5 or so houses but he really enjoyed it so we went around the whole neighborhood.

Eric does not know what candy is but quite enjoyed moving it from one bucket to another and squeezing the wrappers.  He really seemed to enjoy his first time trick or treating.  Thank you Grandpa Bob for the pictures.

Big Boy Bed

We have had Eric in a Big Boy Bed for almost a month now and he is doing very well.  He usually only gets out of bed one time right after we put him to bed because he wants to look at books or he wants to be rocked.  After we spend a few more minutes with him and put him to bed the second time he stays in bed.  He climbs in all by himself and then says tuck tuck.  He likes to be tucked in with his blanket and then he tells us to go shower and bye bye.  He says this because I always tell him I am going to shower and get ready for bed.  Now he tells me to do it before I tell him.  He is so cute..
Last Friday I was trying on maternity clothes at the mall with Eric and he saw my belly button which is popped out and looks like a button.  He thought it was very funny and now always asks me to see the button.  He likes to push it and laugh.  I have also told him that mommy has a baby in her tummy and now he says hi baby and waves and likes to cuddle with my belly.  He has a very good memory and does it without me telling him anymore.

Fountain

Eric loves to play with his fountain during bath time.  In this video he says fountain and he also says naked over and over.  He thinks it is funny to be naked. :-)

Hippo

Eric loves his hippo.  If you listen carefully you can hear him say train, plane, hippo, doggie, night night and my favorite his name for himself.... Ekit. :-)

The Park

Eric loves to go to the park.  His favorite thing to do is swing.  We count 3...2...1 blast off and then I let him swing.  He thinks it is great!!  He asks to go faster and he also says wee while he swings.  Eric also likes to sing his ABC's, count to six, and look for planes while he is swinging.
