12 month check up

Eric had his 12 month check up today.
He weighs 24 lbs and 14 oz which puts him in the 75%.
He is 30 1/2 inches tall which also puts him in the 75%.
The circumference of his head is 48 which puts him in the 90%.
Eric is very healthy and ahead developmentally.
Eric can say the following words:
Mama, Dada and Daddy, Ball, Dog, Book, Car, Hi, Hey, Bye, Hello, See, Down, Fish
He was trying to say crab today as there was a crab on the wall in the waiting room.
Eric walked about 10-12 steps on his own on Thursday but he still prefers crawling or using his car as he feels it is faster.
Eric loves to eat:
Oatmeal, Strawberries, Cheese, Mac and Cheese, Grilled Cheese, and sweet potatoes
He is now able to eat almost anything that is not too hard or round.
We will be introducing lunch meat, ground meat, fish and chicken into his diet.
Life is very busy and exciting for us these days.  Eric has lots of energy and moves constantly.

Cake in Hair

Great Grandma Mary was determined to have Eric put cake in his hair.  She finally got him to do it in this clip.  Shortly afterwards Eric received a bath.

Birthday Toys

Eric and Frank playing with the water table.  Frank seems to like his new water dish... :-)
This is one of my favorite pictures.
Waiting for the box of this toy to be opened.
Reading/Listening to the Winnie the Pooh musical card Mommy and Daddy gave him.
Playing with his southern talking BBQ grill.  It is a very funny toy.
In the middle of all the new toys.

Using his feet to pull him self around the house on his new 3 wheeler with mom close behind.

Eric's new toys

Eric in the middle of all his new toys!!  He has so many he was not quite sure what to look at first.  Thank you for all the wonderful toys!!
